ABOUT THE COUNCIL
The Muscat Policy Council was established in November 2024 as the Sultanate of Oman’s first informal Think-and-Do-Tank. It serves as an intellectual and research incubator, providing policy studies and analyses to address regional and global challenges. Through comprehensive knowledge-based insights, the Council aims to enhance public understanding and tackle emerging issues in economic, social, and political contexts.
Recognising the pivotal role of think tanks and strategic research institutions in shaping modern governance, the Muscat Policy Council supports evidence-based decision-making. By synthesising policies with real-world dynamics, the Council contributes valuable, methodical insights to decision-makers in the Sultanate of Oman.
